Reaching Machu Picchu via the short Inca Trail involves one full day of hiking, followed by a full day spent at Machu Picchu. This is the shorter and less difficult alternative to the full 5-day Inca Trail or the Salkantay Trek. It is a memorable trip with stunning views of rainforest canopy and ancient historic sights!
The Train version is intended for people with less mobility or those wishing to glamp it a bit. The itinerary matches the Inca Trail group, except the hiking day is substituted by a comfortable train ride.
